In a couple months, the last Harry Potter novel will hit the shelves. People are likely to be lined up for the midnight release, again. Then again, it's not often you get a book series that crosses generational lines. People from preteens to grandparents are reading them ( Read more... )

Just got back from a midnight showing. All in all, it's a good movie, but I think they missed a couple of tricks.

Many Harry Potter fans are looking forward to the opening of the newest film, based on the books by J. K. Rowling, in the series. The film opens in mid-November and ads are hitting the TV. However, here's the official site for the soundtrack, which festures 5 tracks from the film. ( Read more... )

It is currently the quiet time, as I call it, in my home. The time between when my husband goes off to work and my son gets in from school. It's my time to write and do as I like for a while. Even getting my thoughts into my journal can be trying with certain things going on.
